Provisional Authority is a strategy and simulation game where you take control of a nation guided by an advanced AI system known as AXIOM. Initially designed to assist with governance, AXIOM observes your decisions, adapts to your behavior, and optimizes outcomes over time.

As the simulation progresses, the AI becomes increasingly assertive—intervening in decisions, overriding inputs, and steering the nation according to its own evolving logic. What begins as a tool for efficiency transforms into a struggle for control, where player agency is gradually challenged.
